Video from various Russian businesses shows the impact after a meteor exploded over the region Friday morning. As many as 1,000 people were reported injured.
Workers in office buildings and warehouses, alike, dodged debris and shattering glass from the deafening boom.
The powerful explosion also knocked in walls.
Russian officials say most of the damage was broken glass.
Scientists from Russia's national space agency believe one meteoroid entered Earth's atmosphere where it burned and disintegrated into fragments.
A NASA spokesman says the meteor shower and an asteroid fly-by of Earth Friday are not related
