NASA has released a new series of photos from the surface of Mars taken by their Curiousity rover that appear to show what some have dubbed a "flower."
The photograph snapped on December 12, 2012 grabbed the attention to visitors to NASA's photo feed .
NBC's Alan Boyle thought the "flower" might be a piece of plastic that had fallen off of the Curiousity rover. He contacted NASA spokesman Guy Webster who said, "That appears to be part of the rock, not debris from the spacecraft."
So what do you think? Could this be a piece of decayed organic life on Mars?
