Google Android Majel to compete with Apple iPhone Siri as your mobile personal assistant

Get ready for Majel.

It's a new Google feature for Android phones -- similar to Apple's Siri.

If you're unfamiliar, the apps act as a personal assistant and can help you locate phone numbers and addresses.

Majel is coming out next year, and if you're a Star Trek fan, you may realize that it's named after actress Majel Barrett-Rodenberry.

For those unfamiliar of the significance, Rodenberry was the voice of the ship's computer, and wife of Star Trek creator, Gene Rodenberry.
