A new app initially called "Ghetto Tracker" is stirring up controversy.
Developers of the app say it was designed to help people identify safe areas in unfamiliar cities. The app uses opinions from local residents who rate the safety of various neighborhoods.
After the backlash, creators of the app changed the name to "Good Part of Town."
Critics are calling it racist and classist and say it only serves to help rich people avoid the poor.
