Florida college football fans sound off on social media

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Football fans yell from the stands, sports bars, their living rooms, and sometimes, they support their team from their own computer.

ESPN 760's Herb Uzzi and Jason Pugh have been tracking all of the online talk related to the new coaches at UF and UM.

"This is a new day and a new age in college football right here in the state of Florida. It's a big deal for Gator fans, Hurricane fans and even Seminole fans. They're all buzzing about these new hires," said Pugh.

" Gatorbait " and " Alligator Alley " are two other active Florida message boards, where fans are comparing the old coach with the new.

"People are wondering what kind of presence Urban is going to have. Will he be standing over Muschamp while Muschamp's trying to recruit," said Uzzi.

Fans also want to know whether Muschamp will keep the same assistant coaches as Meyer.

University of Miami fans are sounding off on Canesport.com .

"People are saying which is the better hire? Muschamp or Golden?"

Even the Seminoles, who just wrapped up their first, regular college football season with Coach Jimbo Fisher, are abuzz.

" Tomahawk Nation is an active Florida State message board," said Uzzi.

"The Florida State fans seem like they're not really worried about Golden on the recruiting trail because he's new to South Florida."

"All three of these guys are very young, very energetic, very passionate, so all three fan bases should be very proud of these coaches," Pugh said.
