SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - A family in Texas is warning parents about the possibility of baby cameras being hacked.
ABC News reports Marc Gilbert originally thought the voice he heard in their home was coming from a burglar who had broken in.
He quickly realized the voice was coming from the camera inside one of the bedrooms in his house.
They heard vulgar and sexual things being said to his 2-year-old daughter.
Gilbert immediately pulled the plug. He believes someone hacked his router as as well as the camera.
The person could see his daughter's name written on the wall, and the person talking on the camera was calling her by it.
Fortunately, the young girl could not hear what was being said.
She was born deaf, so she has cochlear implants, and slept through the whole ordeal.
