NEW YORK -- Strap yourself in for a busy day.

Corporate earnings, economic data and a Fed statement will give investors plenty to chew on Wednesday. U.S. stock futures were little changed.

At the top of the agenda is the launch of the long-awaited BlackBerry 10, which the ailing Research in Motion hopes will change its fortunes in the smartphone market.

Boeing, which has been dogged over the past few weeks by problems with its now-grounded 787 fleet, reports its quarterly results before the opening bell, along with firms including oil producers Phillips 66 and Hess. Facebook headlines the list of firms up after the close.

At 8:30 a.m. ET, the government will release its first estimate of fourth-quarter GDP. In the afternoon, the Federal Reserve's Open Market Committee will release a statement upon the conclusion of its latest meeting, which investors will scrutinize for clues about when the central bank's bond-buying program will end.

Payroll processor ADP will release data on private-sector jobs at 8:15 a.m.

U.S. stocks closed higher Tuesday, pushing the Dow and the S&P 500 closer to new all-time highs.

Shares of Chesapeake Energy surged 9% in after-hours trading Tuesday after the natural-gas producer announced that embattled CEO Aubrey McClendon will retire in April. McClendon faced scrutiny last year after reports that he had used his personal stakes in the company's wells to take out more than $1 billion in loans, though Chesapeake said his retirement was unrelated to this controversy and that an internal review had so far found no evidence of wrongdoing on his part.

Amazon shares surged 9% in after-hours trading after the online retailer reported a 22% increase in fourth-quarter sales.

European markets were little changed in morning trading ahead of the flood of U.S. data. Asian markets were firmer, led by Japan's Nikkei, which gained 2.3% to close above 11,000 points.
