PAHOKEE, Fla. - A man is dead after he was shot Saturday morning near Rardin Avenue in Pahokee.
At approximately 10:45 a.m., the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call advising of a shooting. When authorities arrived on the scene near the intersection of Rardin Avenue and Booker Place, they found a black male dead of an apparent gunshot wound, said sheriff’s office spokeswoman Teri Barbera.
An old white Crown Victoria was scene fleeing from the scene of the shooting, Barbera said.
The identity of the victim has not been released pending notification of next-of-kin.
The incident is under investigation.
