Trauma Hawk sent to scene of Belle Glade crash

BELLE GLADE, Fla. - Palm Beach County Fire Rescue workers have responded to a collision of a car and cane truck in Belle Glade.

Fire Rescue spokesman Capt. Don DeLucia could not provide additional details concerning the crash, but said that both Trauma Hawk air ambulances went to the scene and will be transporting three patients with serious injuries to Delray Medical Center. Crews were dispatched at 3:16 p.m. to the 600 block of Northwest 16th Street.

At least one patient, a 53-year-old woman was coughing up blood, DeLucia said.
