The National Weather Service has downgraded the warning for Palm Beach County from severe to hazardous, but has extended the expiration time to midnight and has broaden the area to all of South Florida from Lake Okeechobee to Metro Palm Beach County and south to Miami-Dade County..

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are possible until midnight.

Travelers are advised to be alert for patches of dense fog, which may reduce visibility to less than one mile, especially in the interior areas of South Florida.

Expect heavy lightning and winds of up to 50 miles per hour.
