One dead, one airlifted in Belle Glade shooting

BELLE GLADE, Fla. - The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office is investigating a deadly shooting in Belle Glade.

The shooting happened near the 1400 block of Martin Luther King Blvd just before 9:30 p.m.

One victim was pronounced dead on scene, another was airlifted to Delray Beach Medical Center with a gunshot wound to the back.

Family members said the man who was killed was Adrian Brown, a well-known barber in the area. However, sheriff's detectives have not confirmed the identity of the deceased person or the second person who was shot.

PBSO detectives believe that robbery was the motive in the crime.
