PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. - A judge this morning ordered a mental health evaluation for a Palm Beach County School District teacher after he was arrested for intimidation and stalking.
After the mental health evaluation, 57-year-old Frank Tedesco is to appear in front of a judge again next Wednesday. He remains at the Palm Beach County Jail in lieu of $20,000 bond.
According to a probable cause affidavit, Tedesco was arrested Wednesday for sending a threat to kill or injure Diana Howard, the principal of Crossroads Academy in Belle Glade, and for cyberstalking.
Tedesco was hired by the school district in 2008, and was last assigned to Crossroads Academy in Belle Glade. Before then, records show that he worked for the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice in 2006.
