A dead dog and two malnourished dogs were found locked inside a shed in next to a Belle Glade home, according to the probable cause affidavit.
Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office responded to a home in Belle Glade after receiving an anonymous tip, according to authorities.
When authorities arrived they saw found flies around a decaying carcass of a dog laying on the floor.
In the shed, there were also two surviving dogs. "The two live dogs were emaciated to the point they could hardly move. The dogs were so weak they could barely stand up," according to the arrest affidavit narrative.
Keshara Griffin, the resident living in the home stated the 3 dogs belonged to her boyfriend who has been in jail since March.
Griffin faces felony animal cruelty charges.
