BELLE GLADE, Fla. - The man who died in a wreck near Belle Glade Sunday morning has been identified by authorities as 26-year-old Rakson Rodriguez of West Palm Beach, according to the Palm Beach Count Sheriff's Office.
The crash happened at 5:15 a.m. on State Road 700 about four miles east of Hatton Highway and six miles west of State Road 80, according to the report issued by Sheriff's officials Monday morning.
The report says Rodriguez, driving an Infinity, was headed west on STate Road 700 when he slammed into the back of a pickup truck driven by Alain Pena, 33, of West Palm Beach, sending both vehicles into the guard rail.
The Infinity overturned ejecting and killing Rodriguez, according to Sheriff's traffic homicide investigators.
A third car, driven by Eduardo Ceballo, 48, of Key West, also hit the pickup truck after the initial crash.
Both Pena and Ceballo were taken to Lakeside Medical Center in Belle Glade with minor injuries.
