BELLE GLADE, Fla. - Red Cross volunteers said five people were displaced Monday morning by a house fire in Belle Glade.
At about 7:30 a.m., a caller stated their stove was on fire at a home in the 2100 block of N.E. Avenue I, according to Cpt. Albert Borroto with the Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.
Firefighters arrived, entered the home and found the source of the fire to be coming from the kitchen and laundry room.
Crews quickly extinguished this blaze. No one was injured.
The fire displaced one adult and four children. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
