A meeting Thursday evening at the St. Lucie County Supervisor of Elections office was scheduled to go over all aspects of Tuesday's election.

Congressman Allen West filed an injunction against both the Supervisor of Elections and the St. Lucie County Canvassing Board to impound voting machines and paper ballots.

Yesterday, his campaign filed a lawsuit seeking a manual recount of all District 18 ballots.

A couple of delays Tuesday caused what the West camp called "disturbing irregularities" in the tabulation process.

Supervisor of Elections Gertrude Walker is meeting with the public and her staff to verify 691 provisional ballots, and 300 ballots that were not read at the polls.

The Clerk of the Circuit Court said that Judge Dan Vaughn will have a hearing Friday to rule on the West injunctions.
