PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. - PORT ST. LUCIE - Port St. Lucie police say all southbound lanes on Bayshore Boulevard remain closed as of 8:30 a.m. Thursday.
City crew are re-paving the section of the road affected by Wednesday afternoon's water main break. The water main break happened about 4:45 p.m. on Bayshore Boulevard between Crosstown Parkway and Whitmore Drive, said Master Sgt. Frank Sabol, police spokesman.
Sabol said southbound lanes will remain closed for at least the next two hours.
Police suggested that parents trying to get to Bayshore Elementary School from the north should follow Crosstown to Empire Street, then right onto Fairvew to Bayshore and then turn left.
