PORT ST. LUCIE - A woman accused of chucking her boyfriend's barbecue grill, golf shoes, cooked dinner and other things in his backyard pool over the weekend after he asked her to leave faces charges, according to a recently released report.

The boyfriend told Port St. Lucie police Sunday he asked Diana Loomis, 55, to leave his home on Southwest Thornhill Drive "because of her accusations that he is having a relationship with another woman."

"This enraged Loomis and she began to throw items (mayonnaise jar and wine bottle) at him," the report states. "She then began to throw his personal property into his backyard pool to include the following: propane BBQ grill, golf shoes, his cooked dinner, household plants and other miscellaneous items."

The 49-year-old boyfriend said the mayo jar hit him in the back of the neck, but investigators saw no marks on his neck.

Loomis said she got upset. She said that while she tossed things in the pool, she didn't hit her boyfriend with anything.

Police noted a mayonnaise jar, wine bottle, black and stainless steel barbecue grill and other things in the pool.

Loomis, whose 3-year-old granddaughter was turned over to a family member and his girlfriend at the scene, faces criminal mischief and domestic related simple assault charges.
