Port St. Lucie Police elderly woman who went missing earlier on Sunday has been found

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. - The Port St. Lucie Police Department is asking for the community’s help in locating a 79-year-old woman who suffers from dementia.

Janice Schuerch is a white women with white hair and blue eyes.  She is 5-feet, 3-inches tall and weighs 185 pounds. 

Schuerch is a seasonal resident who arrived in Florida on Saturday. 

She was last seen at 6 p.m. Sunday n the area of Southeast Majestic Drive. She was headed home to 202 Southeast Village Drive but never arrived. 

Schuerch was wearing a light blue shirt, tan shorts and was driving a silver two-door 1994 Nissan Sentra, Florida Tag M132AV.   

Anyone with information regarding Schuerch’s whereabouts is asked to immediately call 911 or the Port St. Lucie Police Department at 772-871-5001.
