A juvenile boy was arrested and charged with making a false report of a crime, after he called police Sunday afternoon to report his two sisters were abducted at Treasure Coast High School after a church service.

The boy reported that just before 2 p.m. six masked people, one armed with a gun, abducted his sisters, loaded them into a van and fled the area. The juvenile reported that the suspects left in an older model, black, full sized Dodge van, according to Port St. Lucie Master Sgt. Frank Sabol.

Port St. Lucie police responded with ground units and an air unit in an attempt to locate the suspect vehicle, Sabol said.

Police again questioned the juvenile after reviewing the surveillance video. The juvenile then confessed that there was no abduction or kidnapping, Sabol said.
