PORT ST. LUCIE — A man wearing a yellow construction hat and a reflective vest is accused Saturday of robbing a Wells Fargo Bank, a Port St. Lucie police spokesman said.
Police at 1:08 p.m. Saturday went to the incident at a Wells Fargo Bank in the 10300 block of Southwest Village Center Drive, according to Master Sgt. Frank Sabol, police spokesman.
A man in a yellow construction hat and a yellow reflective vest came in the bank. He went to a teller, and pulled a gun, possibly a revolver with wood grips. The man demanded money, and was given some before he left on foot, Sabol said.
The man is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall and 170 to 180 pounds. He is black and of muscular build. He is bald and has no facial hair.
The man wore a T-shirt and jeans and had a red lunch pail. He is described as being in his late 20s to early 30s.
No one was hurt, Sabol said.
Sabol said one customer was in the bank at the time, and that officers still are investigating.
