PORT ST. LUCIE —A 1-year-old boy on Monday was flown in critical condition to a southern trauma center after falling onto a tile floor, the St. Lucie County Fire District stated Tuesday.

Fire district crews at 8:05 p.m. Monday went to the incident at a home in the 6100 block of Northwest Ginger Lane in Port St. Lucie, according to the fire district.

The child fell about 4 feet onto a tile floor and was flown in critical condition to a southern trauma center.

No other information was immediately available.
