PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. - A 32-year-old man was arrested Tuesday on a host of drug-related charges after sheriff's investigators found cocaine, Ecstasy, marijuana and other items in his home, according to an affidavit released Wednesday.

Jean Fecker Pierre was arrested after St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office officials searched his listed address in the 2400 block of Southeast Stonecrop Street, an affidavit states. In Pierre's bedroom, investigators turned up about 2 ounces of cocaine, 3 ounces of marijuana, Ecstasy, oxycodone pills and other items.

Oxycodone is a prescription painkiller, while Ecstasy can cause hallucinations and often is associated with clubs.

Another resident of the home, 34-year-old Francis Robert Power, also was arrested, and faces a single possession of cocaine charge. Investigators say he had slightly less than an ounce of cocaine in his bedroom.

Sheriff's officials suspect Pierre had been involved in drug sales for about two years, describing him as a mid-level dealer. The investigation lasted for two months, but officials declined to say how they learned of Pierre.

Investigators also turned up nearly $20,000 in cash and three handguns, a sheriff's official said. The sheriff's office seized the handguns, but there was nothing illegal about the guns.

Pierre was arrested on six felony drug related charges, including cocaine trafficking and possession of more than 20 grams of marijuana, and one misdemeanor drug related charge.

He was held Wednesday in the St. Lucie County Jail in lieu of $210,750 bail, a jail official said.
