The workday began with an interruption at the Rivergate Plaza in Port St. Lucie Friday.
Police and St. Luce County Fire Rescue responded to a report of a gas leak at 9:30 a.m.
As a safety measure, businesses in the plaza were evacuated.
About an hour and fifteen minutes later the all clear was given and businesses were allowed to resume their daily routine.
