PORT ST. LUCIE — A 66-year-old Port St. Lucie man has been accused of molesting a young girl, according to a city police department arrest affidavit.
Daniel D. Lenz, who lives in the 700 block of Southwest Dorado Lane, was being held Monday at the St. Lucie County Jail in lieu of a $200,000 bond, records show. He is charged with lewd and lascivious behavior on a person under the age of 12.
The girl, who is now 11, told police Lenz started fondling her through her clothes in 2007. He continued until April of this year, when she pushed his hand away, according to the arrest affidavit.
The girl confided in a friend, who told her to tell her mother what had been going on, the affidavit said.
