PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. - A Port Saint Lucie man is accused of throwing a firecracker at a deputy's car.
The Saint Lucie County Sheriff's Office said Christopher Marrero, 22, was riding his bike when he threw the explosive.
After a short chase, the deputy caught Marrero near West Aldea Street and East Prima Vista Boulevard.
He claims he threw the firecracker because he was bored and was upset over a girl.
