The Chase Bank located at 1710 SW Gatlin Boulevard in Port St. Lucie was robbed this morning, according to Port St. Lucie Police spokesman, Sgt. Frank Sabol.
Police investigators revealed that the suspect entered the bank and approached the teller.
He handed the teller a check with a hand-written message on it demanding money.
The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of cash before leaving on foot.
There was no get-away car description and a gun was not displayed during the robbery.
The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 6'5" tall, weighing about 200 pounds and carrying a backpack.
The suspect wore a brown hat with the letter "M" on the front of the hat, a brown shirt, dark colored jacket and blue jeans.
