Port St. Lucie, FLORIDA - They call it the largest salsa festival on the Treasure Coast. And it may be hard to argue as hundreds packed the Port Saint Lucie Civic Center for the 10th annual San Juan Festival.
Music, food, and dancing were among the highlights. Even though this was deemed as a Puerto Rican Festival, the event brought people from all nationalities.
Franklin Camilo, who is from Colombia said, "I'm here because being with Puerto Ricans, its like being loved. I'm here because I love Puerto Rico."
"It feels like I'm close to home its such amazing all the people", said Jamaraly Rodriguez. " I see all my Puerto Ricans were having a great time just dancing."
Hispanic Heritage Month ends October 15th.
