PORT ST. LUCIE — The Port St. Lucie Business Women recently granted a request from the Department of Children and Families to provide Teddy bears to orphaned Haitian children arriving at St. Lucie County International Airport for adoption in the United States.
The Port St. Lucie Business Women membership voted to earmark $250 from its Community Action and Grant fund, which purchased 45 hug-sized Teddy bears.
