FORT PIERCE, Fla. -- Fort Police police arrested two men Wednesday after finding more than 10 pounds of marijuana and 28 grams of cocaine in a Fort Pierce residence.

The Fort Pierce Police Department’s Crime Suppression Unit found drugs while conducted a search warrant at 1020 North 25th Street.

"Detectives were searching for drugs and found exactly what they were looking for," said police spokesperson Dennis McWilliams.

Detectives said after finding the drugs, they found evidence that indicated they were ready for sale: Scales used to weigh the marijuana, small baggies for packaging, and an agent used by drug dealers to increase the weight of their drugs before sale.

Police arrested Jermorey Canty, 23, and Alexander Clark, 18, who are listed as the home's residents.

Both Canty and Clark are facing charges of possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana, trafficking in cocaine and possession of marijuana with the intent to sell.

They were transported to the St. Lucie County Jail on $105,000 bond.
