FORT PIERCE, Fla. -- Southbound lanes are back open after a tractor trailer carrying mulch overturned this morning, blocking a portion of Florida's Turnpike.
The accident occurred near mile marker 144, between the Crosstown Parkway overpass and the Fort Pierce service plaza.
Mulch from the tractor trailer was partially poured into the roadway.
Florida Highway Patrol troopers diverted traffic off the turnpike at Exit 152.
