FORT PIERCE, Fla. — A 27-year-old man accused of grabbing a police officer's gun and punching the officer early Wednesday at Lawnwood Pavilion was arrested and taken to the St. Lucie County jail , according to a Fort Pierce police report.
A Fort Pierce police officer about 4 a.m. Wednesday was dispatched to Lawnwood Pavilion and met with Ryan Ziesmer, 27, of the 700 block of Kitterman Road in Fort Pierce. As the officer tried to speak with Ziesmer, Ziesmer is accused of grabbing the officer's holstered firearm.
