FORT PIERCE, Fla. - A small group rallies in Fort Pierce to show its support for Trayvon Martin on Sunday.
The group met at Dreamland Park in Fort Pierce with signs. Organizers say even though they were not happy with the verdict, they say they're even more upset with the 'Stand your Ground Law.'
"We want to repeal stand your ground, and while we do feel remorse for the Trayvon Martin family we want to join their effort and try and bring this country together and make sure that every person can walk around and be free," said Tony Barnes.
While the theme for this rally was "Justice for Trayvon", the group also wants the community to come together when it comes to the recent wave of violence in the Fort Pierce area.
