FORT PIERCE, Fla. - One northbound lane of Interstate 95 remained blocked at 9:30 a.m. because of a single vehicle crash about 2 miles north of Orange Avenue.
A tractor trailer overturned about 7:57 a.m. Friday, hospitalizing the driver, according to the St. Lucie County Fire District.
The truck is upside down along the roadway and the Florida Highway Patrol is overseeing the crash scene near mile marker 133.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area and, if possible, exit at Orange Avenue to help prevent slow-downs that are expected to last through the morning commute.
