Fort Pierce man facing more than a dozen child porn charges

FORT PIERCE, Fla. - A Fort Pierce man is behind bars facing more than a dozen child pornography charges.

46-year old Scott Johnson was arrested Wednesday night by the Indian River County Sheriff's Office.

Detectives say he admitted to downloading child pornography pictures and producing child pornography with a young girl, the daughter of a woman he knew.

Police seized several items from Johnson, including the camera that was used in these films and two inappropriate books.

"I hope and pray after these charges if he's found guilty, that he will never see the light of day," said Sheriff Ken Mascara, of Indian River County

Johnson is being held on a bond of $2.4 million dollars.
