Fish kill filmed on Treasure Coast

HUTCHINSON ISLAND, Fla. - Concerned residents have reported a fish kill on Hutchinson Island.

Two separate 'You Reporters' sent in video Tuesday morning.

The video shows bait fish that washed ashore.

Blane Chaplin narrated some of his video. "Lots of fish in the trough, but I think they are dying," he said.

Another resident, who posted under the name LOTMdotcom, also uploaded video of the fish kill.

On his website he also posted the pictures and speculated about the cause.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission has been contacted.
