ST. LUCIE, Fla. - Some local dogs are getting used to and their new, temporary home at Peggy Adams Animal Rescue.

Ten dogs were brought in on Wednesday afternoon. The group was orignally among the nearly 200 animals that state and local agents removed from "The Sanctuary" in St. Lucie county.

The group was divided up between local shelters.

Now, these dogs will be treated for any medical conditions and be spayed or neutered.

Each will soon be ready for adoption.
