5 vehicle pileup slows I-95 traffic on the Treasure Coast

ST. LUCIE COUNTY, Fla. - Florida Highway Patrol troopers are investigating a 5-vehicle accident.

The mishap happened around 11:40 a.m. and shut down all northbound lanes of I-95 at mile marker 137.

Traffic was backed up until Orange Avenue East.

As of 1:25 p.m. only one lane was blocked but there were heavy delays.

Troopers initially said all the injuries were minor.
