SUBURBAN BOCA RATON, Fla. - A car used in a suspected store robbery rammed a deputy's cruiser Friday morning in suburban Boca Raton.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office says deputies were responding to an alarm at the Best Buy on Glades Road and 441 when they discovered a dark 4-door Nissan.
According to the sheriff's office, the Nissan rammed a deputy's vehicle in an attempt to get away.
Other deputies followed the fleeing Nissan to the Concord Green development where the driver hit a parked vehicle, the department said.
4 people bailed out and one was caught.
The sheriff's office set up a perimeter and used a helicopter and K-9s to search for the three who got away.
They are still on the loose.
The deputy whose cruiser was rammed received minor injuries. The Nissan has been impounded.
