BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. - A Boynton Beach man was pulled over Wednesday night by a Palm Beach County Sheriff's deputy while he was driving along Hypoluxo Road near the Florida Turnpike.
The deputy stopped Joshua Hauserman after he says he noticed that the Toyota Highlander Hauserman was driving had two tires that were throwing tire debris into the road and the vehicle was riding on the rims.
When Hauserman stopped the deputy saw a three-year-old seated in the right rear seat.
The deputy stated that Hauserman appeared to be so intoxicated that he did not know where was. He told the deputy that he thought he was driving on the turnpike not Hypoluxo Rd.
The child, according to the deputy, was not properly secured in the car seat.
Hauserman refused to take a breath, urine or blood test, according to PBSO and was arrested and booked into the Palm Beach County Jail.
Hauserman is facing DUI and child neglect charges.
