DELRAY BEACH, Fla. -- Two people are dead this morning after a single-vehicle crash in Delray Beach.

Deputies say the driver of a red Subaru Forester lost control, leaving the roadway and striking a tree in the 6,000 block of West Atlantic Avenue around 4:30 a.m.

One person has been taken to Delray Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

Traffic east and westbound have been shut down one block east of Lakes of Delray and one block West of Lakes of Delray.
