DELRAY BEACH, Fla. - A family of five, including three children, was displaced Sunday afternoon after their Delray Beach home caught fire.
About 60 percent of the home, located at 518 S.W. 9 th Court, sustained heavy damage; the rest suffered smoke damage, said Capt. Curtis Jepsen, spokesman for the city’s fire rescue department.
No one was injured in the 2 p.m. fire.
Volunteers with the American Red Cross are helping the family with food, shelter and clothing, Jepsen said.
The cause of the fire has not been determined, Jepsen said.
