DELRAY BEACH, Fla. - One person is dead, and several others are injured, after a multiple-car crash on I-95 in Delray Beach early Sunday morning.
No word on the extent of their injuries or the identity of the deceased.
Florida Highway Patrol investigators say at least three cars were involved in the 5:30 a.m. crash on I-95 between Woolbright Road and Atlantic Avenue.
As of 8 a.m. traffic was backed up on I-95 almost to Atlantic Avenue and all northbound lanes were blocked, as well as the on ramps heading northbound at Atlantic Avenue and Linton Road.
The accident is under investigation.
