DELRAY BEACH, Fla. - The man whom police say robbed the Suntrust Bank at 1800 S. Federal Highway in Delray Beach was arrested and charged with robbery on Wednesday.

The robbery took place Tuesday morning at about 9:20 a.m. Police say he passed a note to a teller demanding money, and the teller gave Mirisola an undisclosed amount of cash. Investigators say Mirisola then took a taxi and left the area.

A Delray Beach Police officer recognized Nicholas in a photo at the bank and was able to identifiy him. Mirisola's identity was later confirmed through fingerprints.

Mirisola is currently in the Palm Beach County Jail.

This incident occurred prior to the shooting that happened in Boynton Beach that day and is unrelated.
