Man killed in the 1100 block of NW 2nd Street in Delray

A man found with gunshot wounds around 5 p.m. in the 1100 block of NW 2 ^nd Street in Delray has died.

The man was taken to Delray Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, according to Officer Jeffrey Messer, spokesman for Delray Police Department.

The victim’s name has not been released pending notification of next-of-kin, Messer said.

This is the second person found with gunshot wounds in Palm Beach County on Saturday. Around 3:30 a.m. a woman identified as Lisa Marie Lombardo was found shot in front of an abandoned home in the 1700 block of Roosevelt Road in Jupiter.
