DELRAY BEACH, Fla. - A man accused of sexually abusing teenagers in an abandoned Delray Beach house is out of jail.
24-year-old Francisco Henry spent the last three and a half years at the Palm Beach County Jail. Thursday he bonded out, and is now on house arrest.
Henry faces a laundry list of horrific crimes, including robbery, kidnapping, sexual battery with a deadly weapon and molestation of a person under 16.
Henry is suspected of forcing four teenagers to perform sexual acts on each other while holding a gun to their heads, inside the abandoned house in 2010.
He stood trial in 2012, but it ended in a mistrial. Henry went back to jail waiting for re-trial, then his defense team filed a motion for house arrest.
A father of one of the victims says the justice system has failed.
"Three and a half years and we're not out of trial yet? It's one excuse after the other, I feel it's just being thrown under the carpet," said Robert Andrews.
Prosecutors say Henry posted $88,000 bond to go on house arrest. He will wear an ankle bracelet, which will be monitored by PBSO deputies 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Andrews says he was alerted Thursday morning Henry would be on house arrest. He is stunned, and angry. He says his son has suffered enough.
"He's not doing well, he has a lot of anger issues. He wanted to be a firefighter, but I don't think that's going to happen," said Andrews.
The ordeal has taken a toll on the whole family.
"I'm sure it had something to do with our divorce. But it's been hard on my daughter, me and my ex-wife, it's not what you want your kids to go through," said Andrews.
While on house arrest Henry is only allowed to go from home to his work. He cannot use drugs or alcohol, or carry a weapon. The judge also ordered that he have no contact with the victims, or the co-defendant, who remains in jail.
