Josh Wiemer cracked open the window of his blue Camaro, police say, and a plume of marijuana smoke billowed out of the car, blasting officers in the face.
That's when cops say they sensed the 21-year-old Delray Beach man was up to no good – especially after they looked into his bloodshot and glassy eyes.
According to Wiemer's arrest report, Delray Beach Police got call about a man allegedly buying drugs from a blue Chevy Camaro Tuesday night in the 100 block of Northwest 5th Avenue.
After cops pulled the Camaro over and the smoke floated out of the window, they put Wiemer in handcuffs and asked if he had anything else in the car. There is, he said: a loaded 9mm handgun under the front seat and a plastic bag filled with crack.
Officers asked Wiemer if he had a license to carry a concealed weapon.
"No," said Wiemer, who remained in the Palm Beach County Jail Wednesday in lieu of $6,000 bond.
