DELRAY BEACH, Fla. -- Tens of thousands of people are expected to flock to Delray Beach Friday for the International Tennis Championships.
1. NW 1st Avenue from Atlantic Avenue north to NW 1st Street will be closed from 1:00 pm on Friday, February 22nd through 8:00 pm on Sunday, March 3rd.
2. NW 1st Street (westbound only) from NW 1st Avenue to Swinton Avenue will be closed from 1:00 pm on Friday, February 22nd through 8:00 pm on Sunday, March 3rd.
DOWNTOWN ROUNDABOUT SHUTTLE SERVICE & HOURS OF OPERATION
Route 1:
Roundtrip service between Tri Rail and the Beach
Monday thru Friday, 6:30 am - 7:00 pm
Route 2:
Roundtrip service between Tri Rail and the Beach
Monday thru Friday, 7:00 am - 10:00 am & 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm
and
Roundtrip service between the Public Library & the Beach with continuing service along north/ south A1A
Monday thru Friday, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
Weekends:
Roundtrip service between Tri Rail & the Beach with continuing service along north/ south A1A
Saturday and Sunday, 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm
SHUTTLE DETOUR ROUTE:
During the event, westbound shuttle service will be detoured (due to road closures) from Atlantic Avenue, turning north on Swinton Avenue to NW 2nd Street to NW 1st Avenue. The shuttle bus will stop on NW 1st Avenue in front of City Hall. After picking up passengers, the shuttle returns to Swinton Avenue via NW 1st Street, proceeds to Atlantic Avenue, and continues westbound to the Tri-Rail Station.
