BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. -- Four people are in custody after an armed robbery at Dunkin' Donuts in Delray Beach this morning that ended in a crash in Boynton Beach.

According to Boynton Beach police spokeswoman Sgt. Suzanne Gitto, at least two people entered the business at 2728 North Federal Highway armed, pushed the clerk to the ground, and took an undisclosed amount of cash from the register.

They then fled in a dark colored four-door Nissan, Sgt. Gitto said. Undercover officers spotted the vehicle and attempted a traffic stop. After a pursuit, the suspects' vehicle crashed just north of Lowes on Woolbright Road in Boynton Beach in a grass embankment.

Three men and one woman are in custody. Three are being treated at Bethesda Memorial Hospital and one person is being treated at Delray Medical Center.
