DELRAY BEACH, Fla. -- Florida Highway Patrol trooper Daniel Morley was hit by a vehicle Thursday afternoon on Interstate 95, according to an FHP spokesman.

Morley was hit at 3:30 p.m. in the northbound lanes north of Atlantic Avenue, dispatchers said.

Morley has non life-threatening injuries.

FHP has not released any more details in this incident, including a description of the vehicle that struck Morley.

Earlier this month, Morley spoke to NewsChannel 5 about the "Move Over Law," which requires drivers to move one lane over when emergency personnel are attending to incidents and possible citations on the shoulder of a roadway.
